Manager of New Business Development
Our client, located in the greater Philadelphia area, a rapidly growing and highly successful systems integrator company, is seeking a leader who always operates from the highest levels of integrity to be their Manager of New Business Development. This highly energetic, aggressive and persistent manager is highly competitive and likes to win! Diligent, well-prepared, organized and highly resourceful all describe this team player who is willing to roll up the sleeves to make the team successful. This highly accountable person is goal-driven and results-focused.
This empathetic manager will be responsible for managing new business development; adding new clients through personal sales work; identifying and qualifying key decision-makers; building rapport and establishing trusting client relationships; securing client commitments; meeting new business goals and objectives; mentoring and teaching her/his associates; assisting in strategy development; and helping define and disseminate the specific market proposition criteria.
This optimistic, strong communicator must have a proven track record of securing new business; have experience with software tools applicable to business development; be familiar with standard sales processes; and be willing to travel 50%. It is preferred that this persuasive person have experience coaching/leading a team; be familiar with social networking media; and have experience with non-traditional and innovative business development models and unique marketing methods. It is desired that this excellent interviewer have consultative solution-based selling experience; behavioral skills training; holds a Bachelors Degree; experience in life science and pharmaceutical; and experience in manufacturing and/or industrial venues.
