VP Marketing and Sales

Our client, located in Salt Lake City, UT, a rapidly growing and highly successful electronics manufacturing company, is seeking a leader who always operates from the highest levels of integrity to be their VP of Marketing & Sales. This coach/mentor creates a motivating environment and has a passion for the business and its people. Driven to achieve positive results, this leader has strength of character and empowers others through clear accountability measures. Genuine, innovative, and open-minded, this leader values team work and knows how to get people to work together.

This exceptional listener will be responsible for leading the marketing and sales teams; increasing sales by developing and implementing a go to market strategy; create a consistent brand image; keep the team out front through creative, innovative marketing; provide leadership in product development and program and project management; target the company into new markets; develop incentive and commission plans that drive people to high achievement; establish and maintain effective external and internal communications; move the company from engineering-driven to market-driven; and serve as a positive contributor on the Leadership Team.

This seasoned, experienced, and knowledgeable leader must have a Bachelor’s Degree or related; held the duties of a VP of Marketing and Sales; managed marketing within past five years; has at least ten years of management experience; previous personal direct selling experience; at least fifteen years of positive work history; and experience with complex technical sales. It is preferred that this fair and objective leader have an MBA/Masters Degree; twenty years of marketing and sales experience; has managed in a high growth environment; strategic planning, product management, electronics, Internet marketing, vehicle and/or industrial markets experience; and experience taking a company from engineering-driven to market-driven. It is desired that this idea person hold a technical degree; has a major in Marketing; E-commerce experience; and International sales experience.
